I managed to get Siag Office to run on modern Linux. It's not quite up to snuff for me to release the code anywhere since I haven't finished converting the K&R function definitions to ANSI ones but nonetheless it compiles and launches without any noticeable bugs. I no longer need to deal with the hell that is LibreOffice.
